New National Glaucoma Guidelines to Improve Eye Care

In December 2010 the National Health and Medical Research Council released its new national guidelines on the treatment of glaucoma, the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide.

The Guidelines for the Screening, Prognosis, Diagnosis, Management and Prevention of Glaucoma were developed by an expert panel including one of the ACO's Lead Optometrists, Genevieve Napper, and several ACO members.
