Contact Lens Services
Contact lenses can be worn as an alternative to glasses, whether you are short-sighted, long-sighted or have astigmatism. If you are over a certain age and
need bifocals or just reading glasses, you may also be fitted with contact lenses.
The Contact Lens Clinic will only fit you with contact lenses if they are a suitable correction option. Information and advice on the use and types of contact lenses will be provided as part of the initial assessment.

| Eligibility |
All patients eligible to attend the Clinic can be fitted with contact lenses if they are an appropriate form of correction. All patients must have a general eye examination at which time your suitability for contact lenses will be evaluated. In addition, patients may be referred in for specialist contact lens services by private optometrists. Please refer to our eligibility criteria.
No referral is required unless under the care of another eye care practitioner. |
