Services Available in the Library

Bibliographic searches, training and Inter-library loans

The Librarian can conduct bibliographic and literature searches for ACO members by using a number of specialist databases and can also provide assistance and advice on the various resources available.

Members of the college can request and order journal articles, proceedings papers, sections of reports, books and book chapters. If the resource is not available in the Nathan Library an inter-library loan can be arranged from other libraries by completing an interlibrary loan request form.

Photocopy, printing & scanning

The Library has access to a photocopier, a laser printer and a scanner linked to the Library computers.

Electronic Resources

The Library has 2 computers and is wireless enabled, allowing use of personal laptops.

Audio-Visual Subscription Service

The Library subscribes to the popular Audio-Digest Foundation (USA) CDs and maintains a collection of audiovisual material. Members may subscribe to the AV Subscription Service to receive regular material through the post and have CPD points notified on their behalf to the OAA.
