ACO Continuing Professional Development – DVD Subscription Service of the ACO Seminar Series

Up to 20 CPD points per year

The DVD Subscription Service is offered to optometrists to provide CPD that will assist with identifying clinical problems in their practice settings, provide information to help solve those problems and increase their application of knowledge to practice. This service is a convenient method of obtaining continuing professional development by remote access.

How Does the DVD Subscription Service Work?

DVD subscribers pay one flat fee for the year. Note: subscribers can join any time throughout the year and will receive back copies if applicable. The DVD subscription is based on the popular ACO Seminar Series, which is conducted every 2 months. DVD subscribers receive a set of 5 DVDs throughout the year, with 2 lectures on each DVD, together with printed material and access to optional online assessments.

Member Rate: $65
Non Member Rate: $365 
A subscription for a set of 5 DVD’s (up to 10 lectures in total) of the ACO Seminar Series (subject to recording permission by speakers). Subscribers can claim 1 CPD point per lecture, under the activity type ‘self-directed clinical learning, Group 3, remote learning without assessment’. This equates to 10 CPD points for the set of 5 DVDs, without assessment. Subscribers also have the option to submit online assessment questionnaires for each DVD to obtain an additional one CPD point per lecture (ie up to 20 CPD points available for the whole series if you submit and achieve 70% accuracy per questionnaire).
