Studying
Honours StudentsPlaces are available each year for science graduates to complete an Honours project at 
the NVRI, and many continue on to PhD studies under the same supervisor. Although students undertake all their scientific work at the NVRI and are supervised by NVRI scientists, they must also be enrolled through a University department, this is usually the University of Melbourne Department of Optometry & Vision Sciences.
University of Melbourne Scholarships
The University of Melbourne has many scholarship opportunities on offer, the majority of which can be found on the scholarships office website. Scholarship applications are usually due 31st October. There are also opportunities to fund overseas travel for PhD students
