The ACO is committed to ensuring quality eyecare is accessible for you and your family. All consultations at Elizabeth Eye Care are bulk billed for Medicare card holders, meaning there will be no out of pocket fees for your eye exam, including any required images.

Note there are a handful of services not covered by Medicare. These include occupational colour vision testing and some highly specialised children’s services in the area of information processing testing. These services will attract a modest fee. Elizabeth Eye Care is proud to offer access to GlassesSA, the South Australian Governments subsidised glasses program. Remember to bring your Centrelink card to your appointment.

GlassesSA helps South Australians obtain low-cost glasses. If you are eligible for glasses, the maximum you will pay for a complete pair of glasses is:
• Glasses with single vision lenses – $25
• Glasses with single vision grind lenses – $30
• Glasses with bi-focal lenses – $50
• Glasses with multi-focal lenses – $100.

The ACO carries a wide range of stylish glasses at very reasonable prices. We have frames and lenses to match your needs and your budget.

If you are not eligible for GlassesSA, or wish to choose a different frame, we offer a number of packages starting at $89 complete.

For members of private health funds with optical cover you will be able to claim on glasses and contact lenses with your fund.
