Comprehensive eye exams

At the ACO, we focus on more than just your vision. Catering for patients of all ages and needs, our highly skilled optometrists will thoroughly examine your eyes and provide you with the best advice regarding your visual needs and the health of your eyes.

You will have access to an extensive range of state of the art equipment. Based on your needs OCT, wide field retinal photography and anterior eye imaging may be performed to ensure you receive the best care and advice.

Subsidised glasses and contact lenses are available through the Victorian Eyecare Service to patients with a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. The Victorian Aboriginal Spectacles Subsidy Scheme ensures that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients have access to affordable frames.

Some consultations involve optometry students in your care. These students, from major Australian universities, are in their final two years of university study. Work place experience is key to ensuring that young optometrists are work ready and equipped to meet the needs of a diverse and ageing population. Consultations involving students may take a little longer. Students are always fully supervised by our experienced, fully qualified clinicians.
